The Characters of HellBound...

James Weiss

James Weiss is Isabella Michaelis's stepfather.  He is quite the lowlife. A deviant and selfish human being, James began dabbling in the occult to get all the things he felt the world owed him.  There is nothing that he wouldn't do to fulfill his most perverse desires.  He will even sell his soul to the devil.

In this case, it is Marowit that James has bargained with. Which is something Marowit despises, almost as much as he hates James.  After all, being summoned by a weasel like James Weiss is about as pathetic as it gets for any self-respecting Nightmare Demon.

Now, a new danger faced them. She glanced at the demon and her heart beat faster. The creature waited for her stepfather's answer, with noticeable, barely contained anger. His bulging muscles were taut and Isabella saw a slight tremor ripple across the demon's powerful chest. She got the impression he was ready to pounce.
It shocked Isabella that she liked the sight of such a well-built male up close. Sure, he frightened her since he was a demon. Regardless of that fact, Isabella acknowledged the appeal he exuded.
She stared in awe at him, admiring the sinuous contours of his incredible physique. His face turned away from her, but she decided that he had a handsome profile. For a second, a trickling warmth ran down her belly, sending pleasant vibrations to her nether regions. Isabella shamefully looked away from the beast and back at her stepfather, embarrassed of her strange reaction to the demon.
James's fist tightened around Amelia's hair. He spat on the floor where the demon knelt. That got him a warning look and a deep growl that sped Isabella's heart rate even more. She tried to shake the weird effect the demon seemed to have over her. Once again, she had to force herself to avert her gaze.
James’s eyes were wild. Isabella had never seen him this crazed. The man was undoubtedly certifiable. Still, he formed coherent words, despite his regression.
“I’m dying. I want to change the contract!” Spittle flew from his mouth again. The demon grimaced with irritation. Isabella heard him growl low. It sounded threatening. She released James's robe and stumbled back, away from them.
The demon turned and locked eyes with her. His expression seemed curious at first but quickly changed to anger once again. He looked away from her and bared his fangs at James.
She forgot to breathe the moment he faced her. His face was gorgeous, mesmerizing. This being did not resemble the deformed, twisted, ugly hell beasts that her modest religious upbringing had taught her.
He had the proverbial horns, dark crimson skin, and devilish red eyes, but his countenance was more human looking than she would have guessed.
His face was more angular with symmetrically chiseled features. He seemed almost too perfect. However, despite his handsomeness, the demon was intimidating. He reverted his attention back to her stepfather and snarled. When he spoke, his voice echoed with an inhuman raspy acoustic sound.
“The deal cannot be changed; die and I will come back for you. I granted the life you wanted. Now accept your consequences.”
He faded away, prompting James to drag Amelia's limp form and drop her at the demon’s big-clawed feet.
No, wait!” James pointed at Amelia's prone body. “Take her instead. She’s a virgin and I give her to you as a sacrifice.”
The beast materialized back to his solid form. He looked down curiosity in his eyes. Her stepfather screeched a malicious laughter, “You want to fuck her, don’t you?”
The demon glared back at him and snarled. “Why would I take an innocent, when you are more worthy of Hell?”
Isabella's stepfather shook all over. She saw his rage and fears culminate into a volatile eruption of insanity. “Damn you! How can you deny her? A pure soul is stronger than a stained one! I know your kind makes bargains to break bargains all the time, you fucking bastard!”
In a blinding motion, the beast held her stepfather by the neck and dangled him in midair. Damn, he was tall. Isabella's insides twisted and her pulse quickened.
She screamed.
The demon ignored her, focusing with deadly intent on James. “She is not a virgin!” he roared at James's face, “You try to make a fool out of me!”
Shock masked her stepfather’s face a second before the angry demon tightened his grip and made him sputter for air.
“What? Hey, y-you c-can’t t-touch me...”
James’s voice was very strained and barely audible, but Isabella was close enough to hear what they said.
The demon threw his head back and bellowed a sinister laugh. “Pathetic fool!” He grinned devilishly. “Don't you know that you never call a demon without proper safeguards to contain him?”
He laughed again, “Silly fucker, you summoned me inside your protective circle!” He looked James in the eye and shook his head. “I'm shocked you conjured me the first time without an incident.” The tone of his voice was dry and mocking.

HellBound Excerpt....

Isabella Michaelis Heroine of HellBound
It felt like several hours passed since Marowit had left. Isabella had walked around the cell in circles just to have something to do. All the while, she heard agonizing wails. Thoughts of rotting souls being tortured in many horrible ways made her insides churn and twist with growing anxiousness. She knew the horrid noise belonged to the damned souls. Their tortures must be agonizing.
More than anything else, she wondered what punishment Marowit had planned for her.
The longer she listened to the morbid sounds of Hell, the more her imagination concocted the worst possible scenario for her damnation. Was she truly damned now?
The most frightening thoughts were of Marowit. Although, it was not the thoughts she would not have expected to have despite the situation she found herself in now. The more she pictured her captor, the more she envisioned him titillating her in ways that would make a whore blush.

She did not regret saving her sister from this fate. As far as she was concerned, as bad as it would surely get, Isabella knew that she would do it again in a heartbeat. Amelia was all the family she had left.

Tears threatened to stream down her cheeks. She forced them back. Showing weakness now was not an option. Whatever Marowit wanted to do with her would happen and she was powerless to stop it. He had told her that he was the master of Hell, and she was at his mercy. His words gave her no doubt about that.

I am the only one here who can protect you… Pleasant, warming vibrations rode up her spine.

She cursed her body's incomprehensible reaction to the mere thought of the Hell Lord. Her insides were actually trembling. Inconceivably, it was not fright causing the strange sensations in her abdomen. It was something much more disturbing. Good Lord, was she expecting seeing Marowit again, anticipating what was coming next?
