A Sizzling Christmas Tale to Warm Your Christmas Cookies!

She started to cry, realizing that her shitty life was doomed to go on. For a short while she sat there sobbing and wondering what she had done in a previous life to deserve such misery.

“Well, there’s no reason to sit here and feel sorry for myself.”

Carol swung her legs over the edge of the bed and got up. The second her feet touched the ground, everything around her shifted. The darkness seemed to blow away like dust, revealing a forest. But it wasn’t the kind of forest that reminded her of fairy tales from her childhood. Carol looked around.

There was very little color, although she was certain that the structures around her were actual trees. However, they were trees that looked charred and lifeless. Her feet sank into the cold black soil beneath her.

In front of her, the forest only got darker and more desolate. She knew better than to venture deeper into it. Her breath caught when she turned around. Before her, replacing the walls and bed of her room, was a vast, mountainous landscape. All around her, differing shades of gray and granite gave the surroundings a despairing look.     A touch of red and orange tinted the sky. However, it wasn’t enough to brighten up the scenery.

As far as the eye could see, there was nothing but black and dark-green forest separated by tall, jagged, stretches of pillar-like structures. A huge mountain range extended for several miles in the distance. From her vantage point, she could see dim lights coming from what she assumed were houses. It was so bleary that she found it hard to discern natural stone structures from actual architecture. On one side of a mountain were several brighter lights—that had to be a small town, or possibly a city?

She had no way of knowing how far away she was from what appeared to be civilization. When she looked down, she realized she was standing near the edge of a cliff. Below her she saw two parallel rivers. The water was black and thick and looked like crude oil. Maybe it was.

Above her was an endless gray sky with lighter and darker gray clouds that swirled like the eyes of hurricanes in the air. Lightning suddenly streaked across them, and she saw a huge serpent that looked like a winged snake soar across the sky. Her heart beat faster when realization finally hit her.

She brought her hand to her mouth and stared out at the strange, bleak world she had been sent to. The suicide had worked. I’m in Hell! Just as the thought finally registered in her shocked brain, she heard a man’s voice.

“Carol, there you are.”

She turned around. Standing with a perfect, white, ear-to-ear smile was the hottest guy she had ever seen. Her shock level tripled and she had to blink several times to make sure she wasn’t hallucinating.

The fact that she would think the handsome stranger was a hallucination, when she’d woken up in Hell, was ludicrous. Despite her state of dismay, she nearly laughed at the unfortunate circumstance. And to think she’d actually been trying to get away from all the forlornness.

Nevertheless, there was a gorgeous guy standing about a foot from her, hands on his narrow hips, big smile and a very welcoming expression. Damn, look at that body. From the top of his dark-haired head to the tips of his silver-toed cowboy boots, he was too perfect to be anything but a figment of her wildest fantasies.

His face was perfect masculinity. Black eyes were framed by thick lashes that would make any woman envious. The rest of his features were just too attractive to be real. Only the romance novel cover models on her favorite books were close to looking that good.

Oh yep, she was definitely hallucinating. But I’m in Hell… Why would she be allowed to conjure up the epitome of her man-fantasy?

He was nearly a foot taller than her, which would place him at about six four or five. The tight black T-shirt he wore did little to hide the amazing muscled physique underneath. Her mouth started to water. Really, she thought. I’m in Hell and gawking at a…a… Wait, what was she looking at, for real?

Tuesday Teaser...

HELLBOUND
Erotic Paranormal and Dark Fantasy Romance Novella

Tuesday's Teaser Excerpt:

Samuael rose to his feet and motioned to Marowit. “Creator of all, I present Marowit, Lord Demon of Nightmares, temporary Justice of Final Damnation.”
Just as Samuael had, Marowit fell to one knee and paid homage to Aeon and the Supreme Gods. He remained on his knee with arm crossed, until the Almighty acknowledged him.
Aeon held out his hand and gestured for him to rise. “My son, do you wish to present your case?”
Marowit stood. He cleared his throat. “I have acquired a pure soul who has given herself in place of the damned human, James Weiss.” He locked eyes with each of the gods and added. “I agreed to the bargain.”
Marowit waited for a response. He was not surprised that Dedarius, God of the Temporal Realm, would speak up first.
“The soul is pure. Her self-sacrifice was to save her sister from death at the hands of her stepfather. That is martyrdom.”
Hell's Supreme ruler, Ashmedai stood. “It was a fair trade. As the deal maker, Marowit had every right to accept the replacement.” The thickly muscled dark burgundy-skinned Demon-God turned his ram-horned head to face Dedarius. “We all know that bargains cannot be broken, however if a human soul accepted the fate in place of the damned, then it is Marowit's word against this Council.”
Adonai, the most beautiful of the angels and God of Heaven, made a slashing motion with his hand. “Not if the human soul in question thought her loved one would be damned.”
Ashmedai sneered at the heavenly Lord, opening his mouth and letting him see his large poisonous fangs. “It was not Marowit's fault that the girl thought her sister's soul in jeopardy. He was not there to console her, or guide her to the righteous path! Marowit is a demon, for mercy's sake.” The Devil-God turned to Marowit. “Did the girl wish to take her stepfather's place?”
Marowit was afraid they would ask that. “Well, not exactly, she only said to take her because she thought I would take her sister—but she was very willing.”
Adonai snorted. “I bet she was.”
Dedarius looked at him with disgust. “You should talk. Your angels are worse for seducing Mortals.”
The God of Heaven rolled his eyes at Dedarius, and started responding but another god interrupted.
“I agree with Ashmedai, the girl made her choice, regardless if she understood the ramifications of such a choice.”
They all turned toward Eidolon, Lord of the Astral plane, and Marowit's father. If it was not for the fact Marowit's skin was red and his father's skin was as black as night, they could pass for twins.
Dedarius snorted and quirked a perfectly arched brow. “Your vote shouldn't even count, Eidolon, since it is obviously biased.”
Eidolon glared at Dedarius. “I am simply following the order of things. There was a reason we wrote the Holy Law into existence.”
All four of the gods bickered back and forth. Marowit stood, silently waiting for their decision. It didn't seem like there would be any resolution by the way everyone bickered back and forth. He looked at Samuael and saw the exacerbated expression on his face.
Samuael shook his head as if the situation was hopeless. Then his eyes widened, and he froze for a split second. His expression suddenly changed like an idea came to him. He winked and smiled at Marowit.
What was he up to? Marowit watched him with narrowed eyes as he approached Aeon and knelt before him bowing his head.
“Rise, my son.”
All the gods stopped arguing immediately after they heard Aeon's dual toned voice. Samuael arose and took a step back so he could address them.
“I believe that I have a solution for this. It's a bit unorthodox, but considering the circumstances, may be the most logical one.”
Marowit was skeptical. What in Chaos's ass, was he talking about?
HELLBOUND, A story that WILL ignite your imagination!
By Author Emma Paul.

Tricked by Peklenc, the demon of judgment, Marowit must spend eternity judging the souls of the damned and meting out punishments. That is, until he is summoned by a drugged out mortal for sacrificial reasons and the mortal's daughter catches his eye. Striking a deal with the mortal, Marowit returns to Hell with Isabella, a pure virgin soul.

In an attempt to save her sister's life, Isabella Michaelis makes a deal with a demon to serve him for all eternity if he'll just spare her sister's life. Part of her finds the demon Marowit oddly charming and quite frankly, downright sexy enough to make her wonder about her own sanity, especially once she's in Hell.

Knowing he broke the rules, Marowit's hand is forced to make the woman he brought down to hell fall in love with him, or forever lose  her back to normality. Yet truly wicked forces are at play behind the scenes.

Can Marowit convince the pure soul to remain in Hell with him or will they find and lose love?

Have you Discovered the Galactic Breeders Series?

Kaden's Breeder: Galactic Breeders: Book one.
Kaden has waited twelve long years to finally claim a Breeder of his own. Breeders are a necessity that the Dregs do not take lightly. Without them, his species would eventually die out. The moment he sees Carina ascend from the Mantra’s vessel, he must have her.

However, Carina’s selection for the Galactic Governing Council’s Breeder policy was done illegally. A third party is responsible for Carina’s abduction and her fate is much for a more sinister reason. It is demanded that she be returned to the Mantra for “re-assignment”.

Kaden will never give her up without a fight, even if it means an intergalactic war with a fearsome and powerful enemy.

Excerpt:
Oh my God! I've been abducted by aliens! The thought was incredulous. Yet, Carina Garrett could not deny the proof staring her in the face.
Closing her eyes tightly, Carina took a deep shaky breath. She found herself lying naked on some type of exam table. The cold metal surface made her shiver from head to toe. However, what really distressed her was the alien face peering down.
The creature's skin was jaundiced-yellow and appeared wet but not in a slimy way. A bulbous head narrowed slightly at the top. Specks of yellow swirled in every direction within its large oval crimson eyes.
A wave of fear rolled up her spine. She swallowed saliva to wet her suddenly dry throat, and tried to still her shaking body.
The thing leaned over her.
She went rigid with fear.
The creature bent its head down an inch away from her face.
She shrieked.
Its pungently fishy breath fanned across her face making her gag, "Human will quiet, not disturb others!"
Hoy shit, it was talking! Strange how the tiny slit-like mouth barely moved when it spoke. The high pitch voice sounded almost synthesized, yet she was able to hear and decipher the words perfectly. How was that possible?

Corbin's Captive: Galactic Breeders Book two

On Corbin's world women are desperately needed as Breeding-mates to keep his race from extinction. Having been betrayed by his former Breeder, Corbin has given up on ever having another Breeding-mate in his life.

On one of his trips to the hedonistic planet Azuri, Corbin runs into Princess Yani, a beautiful woman who calls to him in a way he cannot understand.

Princess Yani hates her life, and the man she is being forced to marry for the sake of politics.
Fleeing the nuptial feast, Yani runs straight into one of the planet's most popular dives, where sex and sensuality abound. There she meets Corbin and sparks fly.

One night of bliss in which he takes complete possession of her seems to offer the possibility for escape from her marriage - until Yani learns Corbin's deepest, darkest secrets and needs. Needs she isn't sure she can fulfill.

Can Yani and Corbin find love together, or will Fate tear them apart, dooming each to a dull, lonely existence?

Excerpt:
Exhilaration sizzled through Corbin's body. His mood changed the moment he left Yor. It always did. For at least a short while, he could pretend to be free of all responsibility, or at the very least, ignore it.
Tingling vibrations hummed through the lengths of his dreads. He could almost taste the sting of Mistress Kye's favorite flogger. It had been a little over three years ago that he discovered the Sh'kra culture.
Sh'kra women ruled the males. Their exotic sexual practices are what drew Corbin to Mistress Kye. His excursions since then always began with a visit to the Mistress.
Planet Azuri became home to many different species. Hundreds of years before the Galactic Governing Council had made Azuri, a then uninhabited planet, claimable for any and all alien races that wished to expand borders beyond their home worlds. It resulted in a hodgepodge of alien species, all with their own customs, languages and form of government.
The royal family, who call themselves Azurians, because they settled the first colony on Azuri, oversaw the various mini-governments, keeping peace between the different alien species.
